1. What We Collect
Information you give us directly:
Name, organization name, and email address when you submit our contact form; details about your organization and funding needs provided in the "Details" field of our contact form or in follow-up communication; application materials, funder correspondence, program and budget details, and any declines you share with us for review as part of a Sourcing Retainer, Writing Retainer, or any other engagement; and payment information processed through our third-party payment processor (see Section 4 — we do not directly store your card or bank details).
Information collected automatically:
Standard technical information (such as browser type, device type, and pages visited) that most websites collect through basic analytics tools.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether our services are a fit for your organization; conduct the 5-Gate funder research and grant writing work you've engaged us for; prepare and deliver sourced prospects, written applications, or other paid deliverables; communicate with you about your engagement, including scheduling and deadlines; and improve our services and this Site.
We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use your organizational or financial data for any purpose beyond delivering the service you've engaged us for.
3. Funder Portal Credentials
We never request or hold funder portal login credentials, for any client or service. This is a firm policy, not just a preference.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to operate our business, which may process your information on our behalf: Stripe, to process regular monthly billing and prepayments under $10,000 for the Sourcing and Writing Retainers (we do not use or accept PayPal); our bank, to process ACH or wire payments for prepayments of $10,000 or more; and website and form hosting to operate this Site and process form submissions. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not authorized to use your data for their own purposes. ACH authorization forms, which include your organization's banking details, are collected securely by email attachment — never submitted through this Site.
5. Data Retention
We retain client information for the length of the service you've purchased. Once an engagement ends, we do not retain your organizational or financial information beyond what's needed to close out that engagement and maintain reasonable business records. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, contact us at the email below.
6. Your Choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you; ask us to correct or delete your information, subject to any records we're required to keep for legitimate business or legal purposes; and unsubscribe from any non-essential email communication at any time. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
