These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of unsealedintelligence.com (the "Site") and any services you purchase from EJAH Business Consulting & Co LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Document Number L23000001544) ("EJAH," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting our contact form, purchasing a service, or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
EJAH provides fractional grant writing and funding research services under the Unsealed Intelligence™ brand, delivered by our network of vetted grant writers and funding researchers (the "Guild") through two monthly retainers: the Sourcing Retainer — dedicated funder research and pipeline building; and the Writing Retainer — dedicated grant writing, LOI construction, and application editing. Every prospect sourced and every application written is run through our 5-Gate Methodology and, for writing engagements, a peer-review audit before submission. Full current pricing, included hours, and service descriptions are posted on the Site and may be updated from time to time.
2. No Guarantee of Funding
EJAH provides research, writing, and editing services. We do not guarantee that any funder will award a grant, that any application will be successful, or any specific funding outcome. Our 5-Gate Methodology is designed to identify well-matched prospects and reduce wasted writing effort, and every application is written and audited to a professional standard — neither is a promise of funding, which remains at the funder's discretion.
3. Guild Fit Consult
Every engagement begins with a Guild Fit Consult, which we review manually before sending any payment link. This step exists to confirm a genuine fit between your organization and our services, and to pair you with the right researcher and writer, before any payment is requested. We reserve the right to decline an engagement following this consult if we determine it is not a good fit.
4. Payment
- Payment is due according to the terms presented at checkout for the specific retainer purchased.
- The Sourcing Retainer ($1,400/month) and Writing Retainer ($2,400/month) are billed monthly for the dedicated hours described on the Site. Retainers may be purchased individually or together.
- Hours not used within a given month do not carry over to the following month unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We do not accept PayPal. Regular monthly billing for both retainers is paid via Stripe, arranged after your Guild Fit Consult is approved. Prepayments under $10,000 are also processed via Stripe. Prepayments of $10,000 or more are processed by ACH directly with our bank, not through Stripe — this is a fixed cutoff and applies regardless of card, cardless payment method preference, or how long the prepaid term is. Clients prepaying at this level will complete an ACH Authorization Form and return it by email, not through the Site.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are handled as follows:
- Refunds are issued only if EJAH fails to deliver the dedicated hours or deliverables owed for a given billing period. If this happens, contact us at ejah@unsealedintelligence.com and we will make it right — including a refund for the undelivered portion of that period if we're unable to complete it.
- Outside of a missed delivery, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun and work has commenced, since retainers are billed for active, ongoing work, not held credit.
- To cancel a retainer, email ejah@unsealedintelligence.com. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund the current billing period unless a missed delivery applies to that period as described above.
- Fast-Track applications: for clients who choose to pay before their Guild Fit Consult, if EJAH determines during onboarding that there is not a genuine fit, the first month's payment is refunded in full. This is the one case where a full refund is issued outside of a missed delivery.
- Prepay tiers (3-month, 6-month, and 12-month prepayment options, offered at a discount off the standard monthly rate) are non-refundable once purchased, in full, for any reason, including early cancellation or a change in the client's circumstances. This applies regardless of how many months of the prepaid term remain unused. Prepayment compensates the Guild researcher and writer assigned to the engagement in advance for the full term; refunding unused months would take earned compensation away from the people doing the work, which EJAH will not do. The Fast-Track refund policy above applies only to standard single-month payments and does not extend to prepay tiers.
6. Scope of Work
Each retainer's monthly hours begin once your Guild Fit Consult is complete and, where applicable, any information we need from you has been received. Delays in receiving necessary information from you may reduce the effective hours available for that period. Work outside the retainer's defined scope (for example, additional hours, rush turnaround, or services outside Sourcing or Writing) may be billed separately at rates confirmed in writing before the work begins.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us — including application materials, financial information, and internal organizational details — as confidential. We do not share your information with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as necessary to deliver the service you've engaged us for. We never request or hold funder portal login credentials.
8. Ownership of Deliverables
Once paid in full, reports, briefs, and other deliverables prepared for you are yours to use as you see fit. EJAH retains the right to use the underlying five-gate methodology, templates, and general research techniques for other clients — we do not reuse your specific organizational content for anyone else.
9. Limitation of Liability
EJAH's services are provided on a good-faith, best-effort basis using publicly available information (such as IRS Form 990 filings) and information you provide. We are not liable for decisions made by funders, for inaccuracies in third-party filings we rely on, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that engagement.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to any client, including for non-payment, misuse of our deliverables, or misrepresentation of information provided to us during the Guild Fit Consult.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
